The Effect of Biofertilizer and Salinity Stress on Amaranthus tricolor L. Growth and Total Leaf Chlorophyll Content

Amaranth is one of the most consumed vegetables in Indonesia. Meanwhile, productions plants are affected by productivity and environmental factors such as abiotic stresses. One these salinity, which affects plant growth becomes an issue agricultural sector. Moreover, biofertilizer contains microbial elements that necessary for play important role nutrient cycle soil. Therefore, this study aims to analyze effect combined with NaCl on Amaranthus tricolor L. growth. The doses used were 10 L/ha, 20 L /ha, 30 each manure fertilizer 2500 ppm, 5000 7500 10.000 ppm NaCl. parameters measured using quantitative methods while a UV-vis spectrophotometer was chlorophyll content. results analyzed one-way ANOVA method at 95% confidence level. This analysis showed highest amaranth found 0 l/ ha Na Cl treatment, number leaves l/ha biofertilizer, NaCl, content biofertilizer. Based results, had insignificant had, appropriate dose l/ha.
